Install Instructions

1. Click on the “Install MobTV P2P Download Manager” link above.

2. Click on “Run” button.

   
3. Click on “Run”

4. If .Net Framework 2.0 is not detected on your system, you will be prompted to install it first. Please click “Accept” to download and install. After installation is completed, please proceed to step 5.



   If .Net Framework 2.0 is detected on your system, please proceed to step 5.

5. Click on “Next”

6. Select “I Agree” option and click on “Next”

    

7. Click on “Next” to use the default download directory or “Browse” to specify one.

      

8. Click on “Next” to start the installation.

    
   

9. Once installation completes, click on “Close” to exit.

   

Easy Ways to Download Videos
1. The Download Manager will launch automatically whenever you select the “Download” option and then choose "Open" when prompted.
2. Or when you select “Download” option and then choose “Save As”, you can save the p2p file (.mob) on your system first. When you are ready to download the video, you can either double-click on the .mob file or use the File -> Open tab on the Download Manager to start the video download process.

Download Manager Status Window
1. During download process
  
 PAUSE - Pause selected file download
 RESUME - Resume selected file download
 PREVIEW -Preview selected file download while the downloading is still in progress
 CANCEL - Cancel selected file download

2. Download process completed
 
PLAY –Play selected file download
CLEAR – Clear the listing of the selected file download on the download manager. Note: this will not physically delete the video.
  
Download Manager Top Menu Toolbar
FILE -> Open allows you to add new files (.mob) to the download manager.
FILE -> Change download directory allows you to change download directory to “Desktop”, “My Documents” or the default folder “MOBTV Videos”. You can also “Browse” to specify a preferred directory.

OPTION - Uncheck it if you do not wish to check for incomplete downloads on Windows start up.

HELP > DIAGNOSTICS – Perform checks on your connectivity, software version and required license of the download manager, and sufficient disk space for all downloads in progress.

To view downloaded videos
     
1. Click “Play” on the Download Manager and this will start your media player. The video will play upon successful login and acquisition of license.
2. You can also click the “Preview” link to watch the video while the download is still in progress. Note: if you have limited or very low download speed for a particular download that is still in progress, the preview for that download will not be accessible.
   
3. You can also open the download folder (see arrow below) and then double-click on the video you wish to watch. This will start the media player.
    

To delete downloaded videos
Navigate to the download folder where the videos are saved and delete the videos from there.

Download Manager Updates
The download manager will connect to the server once every 24 hours to check for updates. If there is an update available, you will be prompted the following message. Click on the “Yes” button and the update will either start immediately if you are not in the mid of a download or will start after if a download is in process.
